NNEREN (The Northern New England Real Estate Network) is the MLS for New Hampshire (and soon to include Vermont). NHCIBOR is entitled to one vote on the NNEREN Board and I am pleased to be your Director for 2010 (Marie Bodi of Inex Properties is the Alternate Director for NHCIBOR). Each month, the highlights of the Board meeting are summarized in a "Talking Points" memo distributed by NNEREN. In an effort to keep NHCIBOR members informed as to the activities, changes and improvements to Innovia (the actual MLS system), your Communications Committee has graciously agreed to allow Talking Points to be posted on the NHCIBOR website each month. NNEREN and the MLS are becoming alot more "commercial friendly" thanks to the Commercial Task Force of the Board which is comprised of myself, Marie and several of our fellow NHCIBOR members. Don't hesitate to contact me at any time with questions or feedback for NNEREN, and enjoy the first issue of "Talking Points" below.

Action Items:
It was voted to move forward on a one year contract (having an annual renewal option) with Previsite Virtual Tours as a member service. They will provide both branded and non-branded tours. Previsite will take digital still images and put to motion utilizing an unlimited number of photos. Although no special camera or equipment is required, it can be beneficial to have a fish eye lense.
NNEREN News:
In response to an inquiry from NNEREN , the NHREC pointed out that, while not specific to concessions, there is a requirement to preserve confidential information from buyers and sellers.
There were many updates following discussion with MarketLinx representatives last week. NNEREN has a RETS Server in place which has been successfully tested via NAR’s compliance site; certification of compliance has not yet been received from NAR. NNEREN now offers and has available RETS delivery of IDX and Intra-Office Data feeds. The new “Boat Facilities” is close to being ready to go. Recent InnoVia enhancements include multiple “My Favorite” searches, Quick Look-up Search, Broker opt-out capability of “Listings due to expire” emails and revised IDX photo handling. In the very near future, InnoVia enhancements will include an upgrade to 24 or 25 photo images, multi-tab browsing in a couple of weeks and “Imprev” Marketing Center that will provide users with options for additional flyers, etc.
The NHREC has re-certified the three CE credits for InnoVia training for NH licensees in 2010.
Statistics are available by the 10th of each month on NNEREN.com, by county and state.
After much discussion and a small survey taken on whether display of NNEREN “sold” listing content be sent to REALTOR.com, it was determined that sold information NOT be sent to REALTOR.com at this time.
Further consideration will be given to Commercial listing displays being submitted to REALTOR.com after the completion of the Commercial/Industrial property type revamping.
Based on a request that closed information be given to town assessors, it was noted that we presently have assessors as members in our system as a “read only” membership.
A survey will go out shortly on Licensed Assistants. Broker participants are requested to complete the survey.
