Fulcrum Associates Completes Renovation of New Merrimack County Probate Court Location in Concord
Building was converted from the Administrative Office of the Courts
Amherst, NH – (April 19, 2019) – Fulcrum Associates, a leading construction management firm in southern New Hampshire, recently completed renovations to the building now occupied by the Merrimack Country Probate Court in Concord. The building, located at Two Charles Doe Drive, was converted from the Administrative Office of the Courts. Fulcrum was selected for the project by the New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services in late 2017, and court resumed session in its new location earlier this year.
The original two-story, wood-framed building was constructed in 1997. Interior work included renovations to the attic and the majority of the second floor, as well as creating a new interior exit stair. New ceilings, carpet and tile flooring were installed throughout the entire building. Additionally, all mechanical, electrical and sprinkler systems were replaced or upgraded. Courtroom millwork was reclaimed from other buildings and refurbished for use in this project. Exterior renovations included the removal and replacement of shingles and flashing, a new granite sign, minor landscaping and two new flagpoles with spotlights.
