Governmental policies and actions directly influence the transfer and sale of real properties. NHCIBOR is dedicated to keeping members informed about governmental issues related to commercial real estate. Some examples include: zoning, development, construction infrastructure, and economic development issues.
NHCIBOR collaborates with NHAR to provide members with active and informed legislative advocacy. Our Governmental Affairs Committee consists of Realtors who volunteer their time alongside their knowledge and interest in governmental affairs and public policies that impact commercial real estate and economic development. This Committee utilizes the services of an on-staff Government Affairs Director and engages the services of a lobbying firm.
