THE PLAN NH CONFERENCE RETURNS
TO CONCORD SEPTEMBER 29
The Plan NH Fall Conference, Retail Remade: New Life for Downtowns and Commercial Districts, has returned to an in person format this year. This one day conference will take place Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 8:30-5:00 PM at The Hotel Concord in Concord, NH. True to the name Retail Remade, the program will focus on the current and future state of commercial/retail space and the integral role these spaces play in community revitalization and vibrancy across New Hampshire.
This year’s keynote speaker is David Dixon, Vice President and Urban Places Fellow of Stantec based in Boston, MA. David is an urban places expert whose work has won dozens of awards from national planning and design organizations including the American Institute of Architects who awarded David the Thomas Jefferson Medal for “a lifetime of creating livable neighborhoods, vibrant civic spaces, and vital downtowns.”
Conference Sessions include
Panel speakers include design, planning, and development leaders working across the Granite State. Speakers will highlight successful case studies, lessons learned along the way, and current trends related to commercial real estate and downtown redevelopment. Speakers include Chris Parker, Deputy Director for the City of Dover, David Chilinski, President and Co-Founder of PCA, Karen Prescott, Vice President of Development for Waterstone Properties Group, Jodie Nazaka, Economic Development Director for the City of Manchester, and more.
