Changes to Lead Paint Law

A new section of the New Hampshire lead paint law goes into effect today (July 1, 2024), mandating that certain residential units and childcare facilities are required to have a Lead Safe Certificate prior to occupancy. 

NH REALTORS CEO Bob Quinn recently spoke with Beverly Drouin, section administrator for the NH Department of Health & Human Services Division of Public Health, about the changes.
