NHCIBOR had a very busy summer in raising money for NHCIBOR Cares, the charitable arm of the commercial board.  We started the summer in June with the 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic.  That did very well exceeding the previous 2 years in money raised for the scholarship fund. Last month we hosted the Summer Mixer which had 29 sponsors and sold 130 tickets.  We were able to raise over $16,000. I want to give a huge shout out to Rue and Sallie Nijhof of Birchwood Vineyards in Derry NH who hosted this amazing event and have been such excellent supporters of this cause as well as the committee who helped put the entire event together. There are a host of individuals who volunteer their time to ensure that these funds go to very worthy local causes. Thank you to all involved.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the NECPE Board and committee for all the help in the transition to the new Commercial Exchange system.  This is to happen later this month and to most of the users and to the members of the public who search for commercial leases and sales in New England things will still be working the same when they visit NECPE.com but with more features and information in the listings.  This is only possible because of all the hard work that this volunteer board does. I am very lucky to have 2 amazing boards that help the membership immensely.

Last thing I wanted to highlight is a fundraiser for RPAC that will be going on in September as well. We are looking to raise money for the Realtor Political Action Committee so an email with additional information will be sent to our members. As we all know that elections are coming up and one thing that is done by the countless volunteers and staff personnel of RPAC is make sure all the members of government at the state and federal level understand how important real estate is to their constituents.  Protecting the property owners rights as well as the industry as a whole is so important to the economy I implore our members to continue to support this group.
